fifteen, Hadrian killed a man and was sentenced to fifty years in

The Long Journey
CT 6581
by R. Gates Condre, Narrated by Jeanne Guichard, 2 cassettes
It was almost an obsession with Will Falcon to see the rugged land
of the sparsely settled Texas frontier. To pack up his possessions
and take his four small, motherless sons, along with a teenage brother,
seemed a foolish venture. It was truly a "long journey" from the
life of a Tennessee farmer to a rancher in the wildness of a land
he had only heard of. It was a rapid metamorphosis as he and his
brother, Nate, battled the elements, outlaws and the wild and savage
Indians that stalked the plains of frontier Texas. Had Doc not shown
up when he did, well... This book contains: profanity.
