Library Resource Sharing Projects
Connecting to Collections
The Connecting to Collections Statewide Planning Grant from the
Institute of Museum and Library Services will establish processes,
develop resources, and build the strong foundation of public and
private support needed to assess the collections care needs of institutions
across Texas.
Train to Share
Train to Share is an interoperability training for cultural heritage
institutions program funded by a Laura Bush 21st Century Librarian
Grant. Training will be developed by the Texas State Library and
Archives Commission, working with the University of North Texas
Libraries, Amigos Library Services, and other partners. The three-year
project will address the need to create sharable metadata and develop
state-wide workshops, adapted from the Library of Congress’s
“The Digital Library Environment” series.
