The Loan Star Libraries Program will be using a Grant Management System
(GMS) for the FY2010 grant process. Please refer to the letter mailed
to your library in May, 2009 for general information on GMS.
The first report you must complete in GMS is the FY2010 Status Update
for the Loan Star Libraries grant. The status update is used in calculating
each library’s grant award. Deadline for submission: June 15,
2009.
Instructions for Completing the Loan Star Libraries (LSL) Status Update Report for Fiscal Year 2010:
1. Please go to: https://gms.tsl.state.tx.us
2. Click 'yes' to accept the GMS security certificate. Enter in your
username and password.
3. To view the status update, click on "Go to" then "View"
to access the form.
4. Read the form carefully and review your Fiscal Year 2009 Library
Participation Status. If you are required to send in an assurance of
compliance form for non-resident fees, please complete the form and
send it via fax to 512-463-8800.
5. Select your library's level for Fiscal Year 2010.
7. Submit the status update report form.
8. Print the form for your records.
9. The form will remain in a "Pending" status until approved
by Loan Star Libraries program staff.
10. Once approved, you will receive an email message confirming the
approval. When you login to the GMS again, the Report page will reflect
an "Approved" status. Grant awards will be announced by letter
in mid-August, 2009.
