Our Executive Office

Edward Seidenberg, Assistant State Librarian
Members of the Executive Office of the Texas State Library and
Archives Commission include the Director and Librarian, the Assistant
State Librarian, the Executive Secretary, the Public Information
Officer, and the agency Webmaster. In addition to overseeing many
of the day-to-day operations of the State Library, the Executive
team also works closely with our agency commission and advisory
boards; with public, academic, and special libraries across Texas
and the United States; and with other Texas state agencies. The
Communications Officer and the agency Webmaster work collaboratively
with staff members in our agency divisions to promote our agency
and library efforts and to coordinate and disseminate our electronic
information to our diverse patronage. In addition to supporting
all four of these positions, our Executive Secretary edits and publishes
The Communicator, our monthly employee newsletter, as well
as coordinating our quarterly Employee Awards ceremony.
